Roadtripn' to Redwoods n' Back 2011

...What if skies be wan and chill? What if winds be harsh and stale? ...
Bear you sunwards, while your chance sends you back the hopeful hail:
 ‘Fate’s a fiddler, Life’s a dance.’
-William Ernest Henley

Don't mess. Just don't.
(The sign wasn't necessary. Believe me. The look in his eyes was enough of a warning).

God's wheeling around the sky...because I'm pretty sure those are tire tracks.

"ahhhh, humans!"

twigs.

This image got me thinking a bit about the glory that small things come from. Follow this twig back to its source and you'll find a 100 foot tall tree with deep interconnected roots pushing through rock hard soil with years of proven firmness and strength . Just zoom in on them, yeah, they're wimpy and frail. But look at the bigger picture...look to their source, and you'll find the opposite of wimpy, you'll find strength. It made me think of our source, our God. We're connected to something much bigger than we can comprehend. God's got our back.

It kind of looks like a wave in the sky, no?
