Bernard lost his father (in portrait above) and mother from AIDS when he was a teenager. Left to survive on his own, education proved to be the key to not only his survival but to his success in life, as well. Bernard has beaten all odds. Bernard is a wonderful example to me.

getting schooled at soccer...most surely one of the funnest things I've ever done. We need to get these children a formal soccer league in Kenya. We're working on that with GOmentoring. We're setting up some programs to have mentors set up sports leagues for disenfranchised youth.
